So many people these days suffer from facial hyperhidrosis although most of them do not know that there are things they can do to ease the problem. But this affliction can seriously harm a person’s quality of life as it is can be very emabarrassing. People who suffer from excessive sweating can find it very uncomfortable and distressing.
But fortunately there are things that can be done about this problem as long as you are aware of them. It will just require a little bit of time and effort on the part of the sufferer to make this problem more bearable. A major mistake which many sufferers of excessive sweating make is to use body sprays, perfumes or colognes to try to cover up body odour. This is a bigger problem in teens who find this problem excruciating in school etc. However the smell can be made much worse when you try to mask it. It is more beneficial to take a shower if the problems gets too bad. But for obvious reasons it is not always possible to have a shower when the problem arises so you could make sure to have wipes and a small towel with you in a bag. That would enable you to treat the armpit sweating before you use your deodorant or body spray.
Before you apply your antiperspirant deodorant each morning you should have a shower and make sure you completely clean and dry your underarms. But do not make the mistake of applying a really thick coat of deodorant under your arms. You could end up with stained clothes and blocked pores if you do this. It is better to apply a light coating once or twice instead. If you want you can also take time to apply more light coats during the day to stop underarm sweating.
Living with excessive sweating shouldn’t be compulsory. There are things that can be done but it requires a bit of effort on your part. Although it can be a hassle it is much better to take some time out during the day to tackle the problem than to have to live with the embarrassment.
